The province of BC offers a youth emergency preparedness toolkit called “master of disaster” for Guide age and up. Units can order student kits that come with a backpack, emergency plan, and other goodies from https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/safety/emergency-management/education-programs-toolkits/master-of-disaster. That said, you can teach the program without having the kits. This teacher’s kit includes all the elements of the youth kit plus lesson plans and a grab-and-go bag poster game, and you can download additional printable activity pages from the website.
